Advanced MS WorD (Booklets)n
For this unit, you will apply the knowledge you learned in the Basic MS Word Module to create an informational, educational, promotional, or motivational booklet to serve the needs of your lesson plan / teaching. Your task is to use MS Word's booklet feature to create an instructional material in the booklet format. You will learn how to set up a document in booklet format. You will also utilize the "Table of Contents" function to organize the contents in your booklet.
Before we begin, if you haven't done so, spend sometime reviewing the overview videos about Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and PowerPoint. This will help you familiarize yourself with the software interface and how to navigate around. Pay close attention to how you can access and navigate the software features and functionalities.

Module Activities
Activity #1 (Individual): Instructional Booklet for Your Individual Lesson Plan
Purpose: To utilize a "Book Fold" feature in MS Word to create a booklet as an instructional material of your lesson plan.
Process: Individually, you will identify contents and create an instructional booklet as one of your lesson plan's instructional materials.
Important: A complete individual booklet must:
- have front cover and back cover pages
- consist of at least 12 book fold pages including table of content page(s), but excluding front and back covers (six 8.5" x 11" pages)usd one of MS Publisher Templates
- contain the content that is at the appropriate grade level, and/or in the major area of your teaching/studies such as language art, math, science, social studies, health education, physical education, or sport administration

- be saved and titled a...

Activity #2 (Collaborative): Instructional/Organizational Booklet for Your Thematic Unit (Teacher Education) / Organization (Sport Administration)
Purpose: To collaboratively create a booklet in MS Word as part of your team thematic unit / organization.
Process: Collaboratively, you and your team members will identify contents and create an instructional booklet as part of your thematic unit's / organization's materials.
Important: A complete collaborative booklet must:
- have front cover and back cover pages
- consist of at least 16 book fold pages including table of content page(s), but excluding front and back covers (six 8.5" x 11" pages)usd one of MS Publisher Templates
- contain the content that is at the appropriate grade level, and/or in the major area of your organization (Sport Administration) or thematic unit (Teacher Education) such as language art, math, science, social studies, health education, or physical education

Submission
When finished, you, as an individual, should have TWO (2) final instructional booklet fileS (INDV_BL_YOURNAME_CONTENT and INDV_BL_YOURNAME_COVER). In addition, as a group, you and your team members should have ONE (1) collaborative booklet file (COLL_BL_YOURTEAM_CONTENT AND COLL_BL_YOURTEAM_COVER). Upload the finished files along with other assignments to the appropriate dropbox (as indicated by your instructor).
