Objectives.

After completing this week, you should be able to:

  1. Identify the main theories underpinning the instructional design
  2. Describe key elements / concepts of instructional design
  3. Identify each element of "ADDIE" instructional design model
  4. Use MS Word to create a useful and effective instructional booklet
  5. Use MS Publisher to create a useful and aesthetically pleasing large-size instructional / organizational poster
  6. Utiize "Mailmerge" function in MS Word to connect to the data/records in MS Excel to create letter to parents / customers
  7. Use "VLOOKUP" or "HLOOKUP" funcions in MS Excel

Activities & Assignments

  1. Read "What Is Instructional Design?" (Carr-Chellman, 2010) available in (e-reserves)

  2. Continue to work on ASSURE model-based Individual Lesson Plan and Team's Thematic Unit / Dream Organization
