Objectives.

After completing this week, you should be able to:

  1. Describe key elements of learning theories in relation to instructional media / educational technology
  2. Identify each element in the ASSURE model
  3. Write instructional objectives in sentence format containing A, B, C, and D
  4. Apply the ASSURE model to create an instructional media / educational technology lesson plan
  5. Generate instructional rubrics in the RubiStar or other rubric generators
  6. Use the Inspiration or Kidspiration to create a concept map describing a designed lesson plan

Activities & Assignments

  1. Read "Foundations of Effective Technology Integration Models: Theory and Practice" (Robert, 2006) available in (e-reserves)

  2. Continue to work on Basic Desktop Authoring (choose 3 software)
